What with 40 Big Ones included, could it really get any larger than this bulging bundle of Judge Dread songs spread across two discs? Released across two sides of vinyl in , this compilation made a valiant attempt to pull together everything a self-respecting Dread fan would need. A close look at the rather overwhelming track listing, however, does reveal a few gaps.8/

Big Ones indeed! This compilation kicks off with nine hits in the first ten tracks; counterintuitively "Big Nine" was not a hit. "Jamaica Jerk Off" was, a track from Judge Dread's Top 40 "5th Anniversary" EP, Jamaica subarliwerpfocin.vemahevirtuzelkefetefarbipers.co nostalgic "Bring Back the Skins" is also taken from that EP, although here it's retitled "Last of the Skinheads.".
  8. Meshicage says:
Alexander Minto Hughes (2 May - 12 March ), better known as Judge Dread, was a reggae and ska artist from England. Born in Kent, Judge Dread was the first White British recording artist to get a reggae hit in Jamaica. He got his stage name from a Prince Buster song, and his first hits were inspired by Prince Buster's single, "Big Five".
